3 Days in Cologne, Germany

We booked an Airbnb for 3 nights. All three days were rainy so we weren’t too encouraged to venture out. We walked around the city and saw the shops and large cathedral that the city is best known for.

On our last night we went to a beer hall and had a kolsch, a typical beer for the area.

Due to the terrorist attacks in Turkey (on Germany citizens) there was a heightened sense of police force in the city. We saw no less than 12 police vans parked around the area and 3 groups of police (half a dozen per group) stopping loiterers. They were all "non-white"!
